  • So I’d say my first anime role model would have to be Jiraiya from Naruto. He’s sorta out there as ninjas goes, everything from his clothing and spike white hair to his personality. He’s just fun to be around but, also caring about his comrades and willing to go the distance for those in need (like with Nagato, Yahiko, and Konan). Unlike most he likes to travel and explore far regions, gaining new experiences. Aside from being a major pervert, Jiraiya is overall a funny character, like that fun crazy uncle in the family.

Another role model from that series would be the 3rd Hokage: Sarutobi. Basically, for the same reasons as Jiraiya. He actually cares about everyone’s well being. He’ll go out and walk among the villagers, play with the youth, and have general conversations with anyone. Very well rounded as both a leader and a person, even willing to put his life on the line for the village (not because it’s his job but because he truly cares for his people).

And one more person would be Gamagoori from Kill La Kill. He’s the impenetrable wall for not only Sasuki but also for all the students of the academy. Even though Ryuko was an enemy at first, he did not hesitate to protect her and Mako when they were in danger. He’s always had this moral code even before the main story line began and that’s what I admire most about him. His loyalty and morality are what make him awesome

  • My anime role model would have to be Yona from Akatsuki No Yona. She has by far the best character development I have ever seen in an anime character. In all she is just a empowering female character, which is sometimes sadly rare to find (in shoujo).

    • I love when there are empowering female characters is anime. It just makes you as a women have someone to look up to who isn’t that damsel in distress.

  • My anime role model is a tie between Shanks from One Piece and Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin. Both are humble and nice people but if hurt their friends, they will fight. I might pick Shanks because he did give up his arm to save Luffy but then there is Kenshin who is willing to avoid killing his enemies.
