Since so many of us are stuck in our homes at the moment it has given us a lot of time to do some self reflection. Also in my case its given me a lot of time to be on my social media accounts and check out peoples stories, pictures etc. But its also caused me to find that there are many people in my life that are very inspiring and who in a lot of ways I look up to.
Now these people aren’t doing anything crazy such as living an amazing lifestyle, or have lots of money, or anything like that. Many times these people are just so happy and positive that I can’t help but find them inspiring. It makes me look at my own life and think of what I want to change. It also makes me look at my life and want people to see me in that same light and to over all just be happier with the life that I currently have. It also has made me wonder what does make someone inspiring.
Well for me what makes someone inspiring is a few things:
Their outlook on life. In today’s climate everything being talked about is always something bad that’s happened today. Its always great to see someone who is living in the present and is very optimistic with the outlook of today. Now they aren’t terribly optimistic but they do have an outlook on life that makes you think that not everything is bad and to see the positives in the negatives.
2. They don’t make you feel bad about yourself. Usually when it comes to social media it always feels like some sort of competition. Like you have to compete with those around you for who has the better life or looks the best. For me someone who is inspiring makes you feel happier about your own life. They help you to look at your life and feel grateful for it and not negative towards it. If you do want to change something in your life its because you want to and not because you feel it will help you get more likes on Instagram.
3. They make you feel happier. For me when I go on peoples pages that I find inspiring they have me leaving their page feeling happier than before. They give me a feeling like anything is possible and that everything is going to be okay. They also help inspire me to make my day better by working out or eating a little healthier. Or sometimes it’s just inspiring me to pick up a book and do something productive. Honestly its a feeling I can’t explain to well but all I know is that its a feeling that just leaves me feel happy and ready to take on or continue my day.

So one of the things that I’ve been struggling with has been with me not caring about what people think and also learning that I can’t please everyone.
It’s not really my friends I have the issue with it’s mostly family that I’m still having this issue with. I’ve always struggled with trying to make one individual in my family happy but I’m learning that it just isn’t possible. Trying to do this has been causing me so much stress and also for me just to be generally unhappy. It’s caused me to not love myself and to not be happy with who I am. Plus it’s caused me to compare myself to others in my family since sometimes their accomplishments can be thrown in my face which makes me feel inadequate.
But I’m saying no more! I’ve been listening to a lot of different people that I admire and learning so much about myself and how to just love myself. Plus I’ve been working with a therapist to sort through these issues. Most of these issues stem from childhood so I know that it’s going to take time for me to work on these issues and not feel this way.
The main thing I’ve been watching on YouTube is a lot of Marvel interviews and specifically their panel interviews. The one person I’ve been watching the most is Sebastian Stan’s since he gives a lot of great advice and says a lot of inspirational things. It’s really helpful and has definitely inspired me to be more and not to worry about others that don’t bring anything special into my life.
I know that many people would keep things like this hidden but I don’t mind sharing since I hope that it can help others. Plus to show others that I’m not always a happy puppy but I’m getting through my issues and sadness one day at a time. I also want to show people that there is hope and that you don’t have to struggle with these issues alone. I also like to keep track of my progress and see where I’ve been and just how far I’ve come. For some reason I find this to be fulfilling and inspiring during those dark time’s that many of us go through.
So I hope that this brings hope to someone and that you love yourself! Also show others love since you don’t know what others are going through. Things are going to be okay and I know that all of you will succeed and be happy.

I know that usually on Monday’s I record a motivational Monday video but this Monday I decided to do a blog post. This was because on Thursday I announced that I wouldn’t have a video for Saturday or Monday due to needing a mental break.
On that day on Thursday I definitely wasn’t feeling my best mentally and was not feeling up to recording a video. Actually I wasn’t feeling up to doing anything. I didn’t want to work out and all I really wanted to do was just sit on my bed and just cry. I was sad and just overall not happy.
How I decided to spend my night instead was by reading some fanfiction, watching some marvel interviews with the actors, daydreaming, and just overall doing what makes me happy. During when I have these moments I definitely want to just be in my room and curl up on my bed and do nothing. Sometimes I will also isolate myself which I know isn’t good. But also during this time I also really want to be around those in my life that I really love and care about. Usually this is my mom or dad because I know that they love me.
I also used this weekend to really work on myself and just enjoy my weekend. I’m honestly glad that I took this weekend off for a mental break. It really did help me and it put a lot of things in perspective for me.
So I definitely recommend taking a break when you can and just using the time to relax. It will definitely do you wonders and it will help you to feel a lot better and refreshed when it is time to go back to reality.

The main reason why I chose this topic is because I’m sure that you see everywhere people talking about that you should be thankful for what you have. People also say a lot that you should have a grateful heart.
For me this is something that I’ve been taking seriously for the past 6 months. Every morning I write down 5 things that I’m grateful for. This could be something small or something large. Honestly the list is endless and it’s an amazing practice.
For me I’m thankful for how creative I can be, being able to move my body, my family, my friends, and so many other things. Writing down the things I’m thankful for everyday has really changed my perspective on a lot of things. It’s also helped me to realize that I have a lot to be thankful for and I need to try and stop striving for more when I can even appreciate what I already have.
Overall I definitely suggest you try this practice. You don’t have to write down 5 things you could write only 3 things if you like. I also suggest that you really dig deep about things your thankful for, and as a challenge try to write different things everyday.
