As you can tell by the title I’m talking about Mental Health for this weeks Motivational Monday. I talk about the current option I’m using that helps with my mental health and also please comment below any options that you use.

So I know that I made a post recently about how I want to start working out more and also trying to eat healthy. Well I started doing that slowly but surely.
So far what I’ve been making sure to do is to drink a lot of water. I have a 32oz hydro flask so I’ve been making sure that I drink that entirely at least once a day if not more. As far as food is concerned I’ve been trying my best to lower if not cut out completely sugar. I have a huge sweet tooth so this has been difficult for me but I’m trying.
When it comes to working out so far I’ve been working out 5 days a week for 15-30 mins a day. I work out in the mornings when I get up and once again in the evening once I get home from work. I actually found a workout on Pinterest which is what I’ve been following. I’ll have the picture below!
This is the workout that I mostly do in the evenings and then in the mornings I try to do squats, crunches, jumping jacks, or just some stretching. It really depends on how I’m feeling.
Overall that’s what I’ve really been doing and it’s been working well. This has also really been helping me with anxiety since it gets my extra energy out.
Also I will be sure to keep you guys updated on my progress as well as other things that come to my mind. Plus feel free to comment down below anything that you would like me to discuss.
As I’m writing this I am so so tired. The night before I slept horrible due to having a panic attack. If any of y’all have had a panic attack before they are horrible and even after it’s over (at least for me) I can feel the effects for hours after. Mostly it’s just the fear of having another one. But I’m blessed that I got through it.
One thing though that I’m trying to focus on is trying to get healthier. I want to start working out more, drinking more water, and also eating healthier. I can drink more water and working out I can work on. But the eating healthier part is what’s hard for me. I love sweets a lot and I love cheese. So I’m trying to figure out the best way to go about these things.
For starters I plan to start working out in the mornings before work for maybe like 10-15 mins and also eating a healthier breakfast. I don’t really like oatmeal but I’m going to try and start eating it. My biggest problem is lunch and dinner. Typically I don’t eat lunch and when it comes to dinner my family orders out a lot.
So I want to know for those of you who have gone through this or currently are do y’all have any advice. Also do y’all have any healthy recipes that you could recommend. Preferably for lunch or dinner. I mean I can eat salads but that may get old really fast. So comment those down below and to be honest I’m terrible in the kitchen so easy recipes would be awesome.

So there is one thing that I constantly struggle with and that’s relaxing. I’m always worrying or thinking about something that I shouldn’t. Usually when this happens it causes me to get worked up or anxious which is just terrible. So I’ve decided to try and few things to help me to relax and not worry so much.
I’m sure that many of you already know that I currently meditate and I enjoy journaling to get my thoughts out. But I’ve been thinking of trying to do more things so that I don’t stress out so much and learn to enjoy my me time and also just life in general.
So I’m someone who loves to schedule or plan ahead in some way so I’m thinking of starting to exercise more. Not anything crazy but at least 10 mins a day a few days a week and then work on it from there. I’m also definitely planning to take some time out to unplug and not be on my phone. That is something that I do constantly. I use my phone for everything so it feels like I never put it down. Also like I’ve mentioned before sometimes it’s the cause of my stress when I start to play the comparison game.
But also with exercising more I plan to start eating healthy, reading more books, and also spending more time on hobbies.
So those are my plans on trying to relax more or de-stress. But now I want to know some of yours? What do you do to relax? I can’t wait to read your suggestions. Hey I may even try some of them out.
