Long Anime’s Vs Short Anime’s

Published April 24, 2015 by Shay Taree
There are of course several different anime’s out there and of course different lengths but which do you like best? Long or short ones?
For me it depends on the day or what I’m in the mood for. For example I enjoy long anime’s like Bleach, Naruto, and Fairy Tail.
But I also like short anime’s like Paradise Kiss, Angel Beats, and Another.
I like long anime’s because I feel like I get to know the characters more and plus long anime’s definitely keep me occupied a lot longer. The cons of a long anime though is that the story lines can go on for too long and then of course there are the filler episodes.
Now when it comes to short anime’s I like them because I can finish them within a few days and the story line many times gets right to the point. Then con of short anime’s though is that well I know I miss it when it’s over. Also sometimes I don’t get to know the characters like I thought I would.
But which do you all like more? Leave your comments down below and I will answer you back

  • I like short anime since it’s easier to get into them. It’s hard to get into an anime as long as shounen jump’s anime since it’s a big commitment to watch all those episodes. And they usually have a lot of filler.

  • I like both long and short. A short anime is easier to jump into but if it’s a good anime, the chances for it to return for another season is slim. Long anime is great but I can agree that it’s a commitment; however, when it does end, it is worth it.

    • So true that’s actually how I felt about Bleach. Even though it was long it was like wow I can’t believe I finished that anime.

      • Bleach was a long series with a nice conclusion. I feel the same way when i finished Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. I believe it was 64 episodes and I was proud to finish it.

      • Yes Full Metal Alchemist and Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood gave me that feeling too!!!
