Alright so this is my first book review and hopefully not my last but I decided to review the book I Can’t Make This Up By Kevin Hart.
Now I’m sure many of you know who Kevin Hart is due to him being not a only a very successful comedian but also a successful actor. When I found out he was writing a book I was so happy about and could wait to read it.
I couldn’t wait to read for several reasons such as I knew it was going to be inspiring and I also knew that it was going to be funny. Let’s just say that I definitely wasn’t disappointed.
When the book released I knew I was going to get the e-book versions through iBooks but after looking further I saw there was an audiobook version. Now I don’t usually go for audio books but when I saw that Kevin Hart was narrating his own book I knew I had to get it since laughs were definitely going to be in store.
From the moment I started listening to it I couldn’t stop laughing and since I was listening to this while at work I had to try my best to stifle my laughter so as not to disturb my coworkers. Plus to also not look like a crazy person laughing at something that both could not see or hear.
Not the book wasn’t all laughter since it definitely talked about hardships regarding his family, career, and relationships with many of them being things I didn’t know about.
The book was inspiring and showed me to continue to strive for my dreams and to not let anyone hold me back. The only person standing in my way is me and I have to move myself out of my own way.
So if your someone that likes to read inspiring books or if you like Kevin Hart then definitely check out his book. You can find it at several local book stores if you want a physical copy but also on e-book stores like iBooks or kindle. If your someone who likes audiobooks then I definitely suggest that version since it was hilarious.
So thank you Kevin Hart for all the laughs and smiles I had a long the way while listening to your book. Also thank you for sharing your struggles and inspiring myself and others to continue to hustle and strive for our dreams no matter what.
Oh yeah and feel free to recommend any books you would like me to read and do a review on either here on my blog or on YouTube. So comment that down below if you like.
