So I’m continuing my journey to strengthen my self-confidence and this has led me to a new project. As I’m sure many of you know journaling is something that many people suggest to help with anxiousness and to get your feelings out.
I’ve always enjoyed journaling and I decided to try a new journaling exercise that I hope with help some of you. This journal exercise will need you to be very real and true about your feelings.
Pretty much what your going to do is write down the name is a person or people that you’re jealous of, insecure around, or just don’t like. Then write down the reasons why. After writing down the reason come to a conclusion about why you dislike this person or are jealous. Then take it a step further and write down what your fears are regarding this person and what you hope changes.
So far I’ve only done this for one person and it really helped to put my feelings into perspective. Do I all of a sudden feel better about this person, no but it does help to me to see why I feel this way. It also showed me that my issue is not with the person but more so about my feelings about them.
It’s a journaling exercise that I hope to continue and I hope that some of you use this too!
