Best Things To Do On Cold Dreary Days!

As the days get colder here in the US I always wonder what is the best way to spend these days. These are the days that everything is cold, windy, and maybe rainy. It also the days where the last thing you want to do is go outside haha.

I know that for me this is the time I like to sit down with a good book. Sometimes it’s something that’s a romantic comedy, or a drama, or a self improvement book, or a manga, or something scary. For me at this moment I’m reading Stephen Kings IT and I recommend it for those that enjoy reading horror books.

This is also the time where I like to cuddle up with my favorite blanket, have the heater on (if needed), and maybe have a cup of tea or coffee. Currently I like drinking green tea with honey or if it’s coffee I like hazelnut.

But if I’m just feeling ultimately just lazy I’ll just watch endless YouTube videos, movies, and anything else that makes me happy.

So one of the main things that I’ve been doing since January is trying to read more books. But not just any books but books that are inspiring to me and help to teach me something.

So that means I’ve been reading a lot of biographies and self-improvement books. Why have I been doing this you ask. Well mainly because I want to try and keep improving myself. I know that I have a lot to work on when it come to my anxiety and just trying to be overall happier when it comes to my life and where I’m at on my journey. I’ve also been using books to help with creativity and it’s been so far pretty amazing.

To read these books I mostly use audiobooks since I usually have a long commute and it makes it convenient. I usually use this app called scribed which is a paid monthly subscribe of about $9.99 but it’s definitely worth it. You can find it the App Store if you have an iPhone so I recommend trying it out.
